A cordless wall sconce in brushed brass that throws a warm band of light up and down the wall. Magnetic mount, no wiring, USB-C rechargeable, three dimmable levels, and up to 40 hours of light per charge.

The short version

Wall lighting usually means a quote from an electrician, a chased channel in the plaster and a patch of filler that never quite matches. Sola removes all of it. A slim steel plate fixes to the wall with two screws or a strong adhesive pad; the brass body then clicks onto it magnetically and can be lifted off in one motion to recharge or to move.

The body is a half-cylinder in brushed brass — not polished, not lacquered, so it warms and patinates slightly over time instead of staying artificially bright. Light escapes from a narrow slot at the top and the bottom, washing the wall above and below rather than shining into the room. That up-and-down throw is what makes a plain wall look taller and a bedroom feel finished, and it is the same technique used in hotel corridors and gallery stairwells.

Inside is a 3,000 mAh cell paired with a 2700K high-CRI LED module. Three brightness levels cover a night-light glow, an ambient level for dinner, and a brighter setting for reading in bed. Expect roughly 40 hours on the lowest setting and around 8 hours at full. A single tap on the end cap cycles the levels; there is no switch on the wall and no remote to lose.

Care & use

• Charge fully before first use; remove from the plate to recharge.
• Fix the plate to a clean, dry, flat surface; allow adhesive 24 hours to cure before mounting.
• Indoor use only; avoid damp bathrooms and outdoor exposure.
• Wipe brass with a dry cloth; unlacquered brass will naturally darken with age.
